What We Believe

We believe that Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh, born of a virgin, sinless, and crucified for our sins, resurrected from the dead, ascended to heaven and coming back again to establish His kingdom on earth.
Genesis 3:15; Matthew 1:1-25, 2:1-23, 24:32-51; Luke 1:1-80, Luke 2:1-52, Mark 10:45; John 1:1-18, 10:30, 14:3; Acts 1:9-11; I Corinthians 1:18, 15:3-8; II Thessalonians 1:7-10; II Peter 3:8-13; Jude 14; Revelation 22:12, 14

We believe that people become children of God when they repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ alone as Lord and Savior.
John 1:12, 3:16; Acts 16:31; Romans 5:1-8; II Timothy 3:14-15

We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells the life of the believer providing strength and wisdom for loving and living according to the will of God.
John 14:17; Romans 8:9, 11; I Corinthians 12:1-4, 13; Ephesians 1:13, 4:30; Titus 3:5

We believe the church is the living Body of Christ on earth. He is its head and the source of its life. The body is composed of those who have received Him as Savior and Lord.
Matthew 16:18; Acts 20:28; I Corinthians 3:10, 12:1, 16:2; Ephesians 5:23; Colossians 1:18; Revelation 1:12-20

We believe that a true believer is eternally secure, that he cannot lose his salvation, but that sin may interrupt the joy of his fellowship with God and bring loving discipline from his Heavenly Father.
John 5:24, 10:27-29; Romans 8:1, 11, 37-39; I Corinthians 1:8, 9, 15:49; Philippians 1:6, Colossians 3:3- 4, II Timothy 4:18, I Peter 1:5, I John 3:2, 5:12

We believe Jesus Christ will return to earth to raise the dead, judge the world, and establish His glorious Kingdom. This is the hope of the Church and its encouragement for ministry. Those who have been reborn will live with Him forever. Those who do not believe in Him will receive eternal punishment and separation from God.
